Tribute to Georges Coslin, 1958

THE PROJECT
The Coslin chair, by the name of the French painter and designer Georges Coslin, is still highly regarded as a "vintage" piece, even though it is no longer in production. Its debut was by Faram and dates back to 1958, in the windows of La Rinascente in Milan (of which Georges Coslin was an important part of the "Design Center"). It was the time when the post-war Italian design took its first steps and Georges was a very active interpreter of it: his masterpiece remains, however, this chair for the audacity of the structure of thin metal rod able to communicate lightness and elegance.
I Grandi Maestri del Design Srl proposes a conservative reinterpretation, according to the changed needs of today.
