How we operate

I Grandi Maestri del Design Srl operates only through  direct sale to the customer: the 40% gross discount (special price) is also extended to the end-consumer .

The Italian or foreign dealer can benefit from further advantages connected with the order structure.

What we offer

Our Bauhaus and De Stijl furniture is not produced by the original manufacturers, who were the exclusive patent holders (Cassina Spa, Knoll inc, Hermann Miller inc, Thonet ag. And other).As the sole rights on Bauhaus Masters drawing are not active in Italy, we can faithfully reproduce our replicas: however, they cannot be exported to countries where the drawings are still protected.

We can export freely, however, substitute coverings for “original” products.

The articles offered  are made  entirely in Italy.

Price quote

The estimate can be ask for by e mail or fax giving personal details (telephone number included) and the essential data (article codes, finishing, quantities) of the required products.

Order validity

Unless otherwise agreed, orders are valid 30 days

Purchase Order

After the acceptance of the estimate, the client will be able to carry out the purchase by paying the requested deposit and sending by email or fax the copy of the receipt of the bank transfer (containing the name of the holder of the order).

We require minimum order amounts 

Delivery within European Union

-          In Italy : € 300,00 - VAT excluded

-          In other E.U. countries. : € 600, 00 - VAT excluded

Deliveries in Switzerland : € 1.000,00

Deliveries in other countries: € 1.500,00

. Coverings on request by the client: we require different minimum order amounts according to the article to produce padded furniture with leather or fabric supplied by the client. 

Sales to E.U. clients.

Prices are after-tax and transport taxes.

VAT – Value added tax

VAT of 20% will be charged in the invoice also to E.U. non-Italian clients without a VAT number.

Transport taxes

Prices are ex warehouse with carrier leaving from Italy. The delivery to E.U. client’s domicile will be charged on the invoice (and include VAT) and will be 6% of the amount of the order with the following minimum charges for every delivery:

-          Euro 50, 00 for delivery within Italy (€ 80, 00 for high tables).

-          Euro 130, 00 for deliveries to other E.U. countries (€ 200, 00 for high tables).

For places where it is difficult to deliver (some mountain villages, Greek islands etc.) transport taxes will be calculated from time to time. Delivery to Venice as far as Tronchetto; delivery to Cyprus is C.I.F. Limassol.

Delivery is effected by carrier to client’s address (truck board). We do not make any porterage to floors. If required, this service will be negotiated by client at the moment of the communication of forthcoming delivery with the carrier.

Sales to other European Countries

Prices are ex warehouse international carrier in Italy

SWITZERLAND :

Swiss clients can require the delivery:

§   to  C.I.F. Bonded Warehouse of Cadempino (landed duties not paid), with the charge of Euro 70,00 for every delivery plus the 6% of the total amount of the order, minimum Euro 80,00 (Euro 130,00 for high tables);  

§   to their own domicile (road level) with the charge of Euro 120,00 for every delivery plus the 6% of the total amount of the order, minimum Euro 130,00 (Euro 200,00 for high tables). The client will pay the current VAT in Switzerland (7,60%) directly to the carrier immediately after the receiving of the goods.

OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES :

Transport costs will be calculated from time to time.

Worldwide deliveries

Furniture price includes delivery to an  international courier warehouse in Italy (FCA).

Transport costs will be determined individually each time.

I Grandi Maestri del Design Srl will not export to Countries still holding valid patent rights

 Delivery terms

3-6 weeks, to define from time to time.

Payment

For deliveries to Italy: at the moment of the order : 30% deposit.

- settlement: cash on delivery with non-negotiable cheque registered in “I Grandi Maestri del Design Srl” or Bank Transfer when the goods are ready for the delivery with 2% reduction on the whole amount of the order.

 
Deliveries out of Italy : 30% deposit at the moment the order is placed and settlement when the goods are ready for the delivery by Bank Transfer (bank taxes at the client’s expense).

Spare parts: spare pillows, coverings, etc have to be paid outright at the moment of the order.
Orders under the minimum: if accepted, they have to be paid in advance.
